8 months!

And on your 8th month bday, I decided to lock us out of the house! Dad had to come to our rescue :) Some days are better than others - ha!

On your 8th month birthday -

* you finally sleep great at night - 7:30-7!!

* you do not take consistent naps - some days, you'll take two super naps; other days, you cat nap

* you still nurse - 4x a day - still going strong!

*you wave bye bye

*you mimic everything we do - especially when someone coughs

*you tell me no-no by shaking your head

*you are so close to crawling!!

*you say hi back to us

We love you, sweet princess!!! So lucky you're ours!

Spring Program

Griffin's school had a precious spring program recently. He even had a speaking part! Mi-Maw came to enjoy it, but I'm pretty sure little sister loved it the most - she clapped and laughed as the kids sang!

His sweet class! He's made some new friends and has enjoyed every minute!

His amazing teachers - Ms. Eckert, Ms. Buyajian, and Ms. Court. He loves them!! Ms. Eckert likes to discuss country music with him!

I also had his final evaluation with his teacher and to say we are proud would be an understatement! He mastered all objectives (well, he did get one drop lower in the talking area - shocker!). Kinder - here we come!

Spring Break 2014

We were on the go during spring break! We rodeo'ed our tails off! Loved my BFF coming in town for a couple shows; took G to see his favorite; my sister and I enjoyed Band Perry; and we closed it out with Zac Brown and the Odells! 

We also had another first - we went camping!! Our trip to Inks Lake was simply amazing - both kids loved being outdoors! I have to say that I'm hooked too - nothing fancy but a great time with my loves!

And our dear friends, Kelly and Zach, came to us one more time before Sawyer was born! Emmy said hi to her new buddy!

We are so grateful we were able to share our trip with our friends, the Clinkscales! Thank goodness those seasoned campers were there to show us the way. We cannot wait to camp with them again this summer!!
